no ....seriously ! How do you find a dentist on Saturday night ?
I have a cavity that is literally Killing me ! I can't sleep, can't eat and the pain is almost unbearable....
I grabbed the phone book but every dentist listed said make an appointment... looked up emergency ones and they only deal with their already established paitiants, not NEW ones!
its enough to make a fella go Postal ! Aurgh !

Been there, get a bottle of good booze, put a sip in your mouth and drown that tooth, you can either swallow or spit it out, repeat as needed.

been doing that sense yesterday.... it only helps a tiny amount but it is better than nothing!

Place a clove of garlic between teeth and bite on it allowing the juice to run down on bad tooth.
Then hold for 30 sec and bite some more. Hold as long as you can. Pain should be gone within minutes.
Do this twice daily to keep pain away. Report results if you choose to try it.

lol I wondered about that garlic trick..... I haven't tried it yet however.... no garlic cloves!

its kind'a funny, over the years I have learned to control pain to a certain extent....but for a tooth ache or ear ache my skills in that department are useless because the Pain is too close to the source!
or perhaps its just too intense I dunno which...<GRIN>
when I took my tumble down the road a while back both of my hands hurt like hell but I could block the pain some what mentally but man not this tooth pain ! .... I've got half a mind to tell the Dentest to take all the teeth out because I don't want a repeat of this ever again! lol
it is surprising how something like intense pain can stop all activity, or want to do anything but set there and moan ! LOL
I do remember when I was younger I had an ear infection and it hit on Friday just like this silly tooth did by the time Monday rolled around I was almost suicidal ! it hurt so bad I would have done anything to get it to stop.... fortionately this tooth isn't quite that bad, close but its not there!
that was my first experience with intense pain so strong it made me sick ...nothing has topped it yet
and I hope nothing ever will !

what a Royal crock of Hooie ! this whole Dentest thing is just plane discusting!
i finally out of desperation started taking some of my wife's old pain pills for her back their just big aspbrins but they do definately help.... that got me over the hump it seams so its now hurting less and less as each day goes by.
good thing too because I finally found a dentest and she took x rays and said I needed 2 root cannals and then caps on top of that ,,,if I wanted to save the teeth ! well I did if I could but each root cannal is going to cost in excess of $995.00 each and $350 on top of that if their going to put me out!
and I started thinking about that and you know it doesn't hurt near as bad any more !
so obviously I can't aford to go to the dentest so I decided to go out to the shed and FIX my upper plate (dentures).... sure enough that had helped so much that only the busted off tooth/cavity is the problem now... so I just cleaned it real good and put soome of that tempary filling/cap repair in there to fill the hole !.... so far so good it already feels 100% better.... perhaps that will give me time to find a way to finance my mouth work that needs to be done!

my old dentest in Reno would have screamed if he saw me take the drill press and the rotory file to my dentures but you know what ? it cured 90% of the problem.... now if I can figure out how to build them up from being so wore down i'll have it made ! HAHAHAHHA
I was thinking of casting a pare of Aluminum teeth but I don't think that would be healthy
.... I don't know if aluminum will hurt ya but I think it might ! thats why they use stainless steel.... hehehhe

Old George Washington had wooden teeth. Did you get any antibiotics from your dentist? that usually makes a big difference.

nope no antibotics.... $132 for Doctors time and x rays.... Gadzooks and she only spent 1/2 hr talking to me....hehehhe man I'm in the wrong business ! heheheheh
....
after my work last night though, i am drinking coffee and eating pie this morning...
let that be a lesson to ya ! fix it ur self!
...
now in weeks when the tooth goes into absess and I have to go to the dentest or DIE.... we'll see how "Smart" it really was !
