I found a really neat Motorcycle at "
http://www.scooterdepot.us/" and the price for a new machine is HALF that of the bike shops in town...
I ordered it but as the closing screen of the order it said it had a problem with my Area code I put in... so I called them on the phone.
seams I typed in the wrong area code (fat fingers!) and the gal said Oh... You know what? that motorcycle isn't leagle in California! it hasn't passed certification yet.
well, if I can't licenses it in California it does me little good ...so I canceled the order.

Later I got back on line and asked if they had plans on getting it leagle in the future, they said NO...
I asked if there was any way I could get it licensed in California anyway... they said NO.
....
I guess the Manufacturer didn't pay the DMV enough money "UNDER THE TABLE" to get it passed.

its too bad too as its a real nice 250cc Crotch rocket style, Air cooled,single cylinder, small good looking bike.... (the white one on the main page about 1/2 way down)

its Hard for me to immagen that there is NO possable way to get that bike liscnsed in California
but then again.... the DMV does its OWN thing regardless of what the people want anyway...and has for years!
.... I guess I have to find a 2011 250cc Kawasaki Ninja USED... that I can afford hehehehehe
