the most I've ever had was 4 lpm and that was with two cells, When I ran all 6 I only fed them 40 amps but the lpm was low, I fed three cells 40 amps and got just over 3 lpm and a cell that took a lot longer to get hot. although the very first washer build I had was 22 washers fed by a 120 amp max shop charger that is designed to charge multiple batteries at once, amp draw was unknown using lots of baking soda, output was enormous but cell fouled quickly, probably ran good for around 10 minutes, and got extremely hot, horribly fouled after that run.

LOL OK...
well that cell probably fowled so bad because of all the sodium in the baking soda <GRIN>
a good dip in muratic acid should clean it up however !
....
Have you got that big alternator on your truck yet ?
I'll have to come up with a big Alternator soon before I can use the 5 cells I'm going to make for those 5 containers I got....
I am hoping to make Randy cells with the new stacking method.... but not real sure yet as All I have is the 2" washers with the 1/2" hole in the center.... as you said that makes it rather dificult to drill.....
I think I'll pilot hole each washer for the 5/8" hole so it won't wander at all on me
as it is I'll have to use 3 drill bits to get it that large anyway! LOL
I may just go buy some new carbide tipped masonry bits !

Nope, that alternator ended up on my skidder, the replacement for the original garret was astronomical in price, damn thing caught fire in the skid pan roasting the alternator, there's some good prices for heavy output alternators on e-bay.
