I should probably note that I am a cruel tyrant and will happily use spammers and anyone who can't behave as a chew toy... My Daughter( Feral) is a very Knowledgable person in all areas of computers and is helping dear O'l Dad get the hang of running the forum , so any questions I can't answer go directly to the PRO and she can do ANYTHING ! <GRIN>
I have her to thank for the Forum so far, I more or less told her what I wanted and she did it.... if you have sujestions Please feel free to PM me ! I don't bite! HAHHAHAHA

Blocking or banning a person by IP address is not always do-able as some ISP's give you a dynamic address randomly I think if you check my records as you log IP addresses that is the case
They may also be using public computers and if they have a fixed IP address then a member from here wont be able to log onto this site if they are away from home and use that machine
I dont know how difficult it would be to do /try but have a system where any member who wants to join has to give a brief discription of what they interests are here before they are sent a confirmation email if you decide they a genuine

I may well go to that Kiwi if I have much more problem with the idiots...
by banning by IP address it would not effect you or any other members just the one I ban
as I understand it. However I suppose if your useing a random IP address it could possably land on that IP address 1 chance in a billion , but it is possable I suppose...
so far he has not returned but we got something like 6 more members that havn't said a thing and that makes me wonder... but lurking is a way of life on the net ...you don't have to say anything if ya don't want too !

for Now I will just delete the member that posts the spam/porn... that should slow them down

Personally I'ed rather everyone up date their "Profile" and put in real name and location
... I alwayse do that when ever I log on to a new site... its courtious if nothing else, and lets the human behind the seens know that it realy is a human! HAHAHAHA
Random letters for user names will be the first to go if your in doubt !
or ones that make no sense... so its best to use something that means something !
I know 99% of you guys already so its not a problem with most of you... but there are a few that strike me as being machine generated...
