Bob,
I was going to ask you a question about plate spacing.
Then I said, why not use the search engine!!
Two thumbs up Smiley

LOL  what did ya wann'a know ?
On dry cells I like 1/16" plate spacing...
on wet cells about 1/32" or 1/64" if you can get them that close
the old wives-tails about too close of spaceing and the bubbles can't get out is just that , a MYTH !  the bubbles are so small that even the closest spaced cells only work better than others...
Plate spacing is CRITICAL to a good working cell... if your plate spacing is going to be about 1/4" you just as well go back to the drawing board... because my last cell was spaced about that and I only got 1/4 LPM ....and that wasn't worth 1/4 of the time it took to put together!... get that plate spacing down and your cell will put out good !
...  if it doesn't then your probably not giving it enough amperage!
lol

I just wondered how close the randy cell was spaced.  I saw that he had about .010 spacing,
so I'll shoot for somewhere around that.  I found a place that has ss for a fairly good price,
metals4u its in texas.  I just need to order the plates.
