Hi Bob, Manta here.
Just passing through and saying hello. I'll join you in some discussion when I get a bit more spare time. Trying to sort out a pipe-work problem on my compressor.

Hi just found this site from a link of another hydroxy site the 3 members above I reconise from that site I am still working on a cell but not happy yet I think it is around 0.7 LPM at 12 to 15 amps have not done soda bottle test for a while

Howdy Guys ! Welcome abord ! Manta: What seams to be the problem with the Pipeing on the compressor ? I have an old sears 2 cyl small compressor that is a hand-me-down and is probly older than I am ! hehehe but it still pumps up tires and runs the impact drivers albeit rater poorly at only 60 p.s.i. ... I added a 25gal propaine tank for additional air storage by running a line to the tank from the small 5 gal tank on the compressor... takes a good 15 min to reach pressure but works good when it finally does get there ! HAHAHHA ... so whats the problem with the compressor anyway ? ... Bob......

Hay Number1Kiwi ! good to have ya abord... Sounds like its working fairly well... ya gott'a remember 10 to 15 amps ain't all that much when you get to the bottom side of amps the output drops off realy fast so 5 more amps make a big diference in output... get that thing to 20 amps and do a LPM test and you'll know where you stand.... I am guessing at about 1.5LPM at 20amps from what your saying, and thats not bad at all.... ... Bob........

Bob,
It's a memory failure problem. I can't remember where I put a vital connector the last time I removed it. So I'll have to make a new one.
Good to see you other guys over here also.

I was hopeing to get everyone to post pics of their generators in the Generator section... feel free to do that ! if and when I run out'a room I'll attack the problem then and probly delete real old stuff or not important things... but I have something like 12 gigs in room and it should do for a very long time ! This forum is to help people.... and that means everyone ! Oh man Bob, yer butt's gonna grow around that chair, then you'll be stuck, been close to that myself, hahahaha, I think the other forum's getting jealous of some other designs output, a couple new things from my testing, been running a cell with KOH off and on for a while now, the output is dropping off??? the plates look frosted, also the cells in the truck are losing it also since adding denatured alcohol,??? I've got to find a good antifreeze up here, I'm going to have to tear down my cell and clean I suspect, I'm going to clean out the one with the KOH and try the winterized washer fluid and test it, see ya randy

Randy clean them cells in muratic acid and then rinse then in distilled White vinegar and then rain water and you will be amazed how easy it is and how well it works.

Thought i'd jump over here too. good stuff Bob - like the others say you gotta a fair bit of work cut out for ya. look foreward to this new forum. I'm heading home in a few days so and hav all my parts oredered - by the end of October I want my cells to be running.
Thought I'd add a bit about myself, good way for people to understand where everyone comes from.
Well originally I am a farmer - Angus Cattle, family farm sold a few years back now I work as a Lab manager in soil testing labs on mine sites and various other construction sites throughout Western Australia. My work roster makes it difficult for me to do much work on my hobbies eg making hydroxy boosters etc, see i work 26 days on site then i have 9 days off - i lose 2 of those 9 days in travelling home, so i really have over a 5 week period, 7 days where i can work on my projects, along with all the other stuff I have to do in those 7 days so generally it takes me a bit of time to get whatever i want made.
Other stuff bout me, I used to make Biodiesel - used to love making that stuff, but now i'm in a suburban area I can't really do that - i'll wait until i get a 5 acre block or something then get set up with that again. I basically like the challenge of trying to make something when someone says I can't - or it won't work. I heard a bit of that when I made biodiesel, but now with hydroxy, man, everyone tells me i'm wasting my time - now i'm pumped to prove everyone wrong.
Lets get our generators pumping out some serious LPM and show everyone that this is the future.

Woot ! Welcome all ! when I set up shop here I didn't expect all my friends from the other forem to follow me here ! HAHAHHA fantastic !!!! Fantastic INDEED ! ... RANDY !!!! Hay buddy ! is it possably the KOH that is giveing me the lower and lower output ? I saw your post about "get that creek water out'a there" HAHAHHA but I ran out of Distilled water!... I went through 8 gallons of distilled water in less than 2 weeks ! Gadzooks! anyway.... sure enough there is a layer of green shit on the top of the water in my cell... so I flushed it out good and after the next trip to town I will pick up more distilled water... AND I will switch back to Koolaid.... I have changed the wireing on the 3 cell to parallel hookup instead of series and the output even at 15 amps looks better than I was getting at 30 amps when they were in series.... I don't even pretend to know WHY this is happening.. I can't figure it out myself! ... but I am thinking that with the cells in parallel I can get the amps high enough easily with Koolaid ,...where I could only get to about 16amps before when they were in series. now it barely takes ANY electrolite to get amps draw... ..so what is slated for this next week is More distilled water, MURIC ACID for a good washing out and then Koolaid and try it again ! .. Good to see all you guys here ! THANK YOU FOR COMEING! ... as for the Work load on me ... hehehehe NAH this is Childs play compaired to some , so no problem ! if ya have any questions feel free to ask ! the only stupid question is the unasked one! HAHAHA Bob........

Just about ALL plastics I think are compatible... certainly PVC, ABS and vinal gas line, as well as the good rubber gas lines... I know that because I have used them in KOH and had no trouble at all ! ... Bob......

Hay Trev H.... I know I saw that post too now that I thought about it so I'm sure its in the hydrogengenerator.cc site inder the hydrogen Generators section, sense that is the one I almost only looked at... I know its a LONG LONG section, many pages but you might do a search for ABS or PVC and choose from the many that come up.... good luck and ya might make a copy of it and post it here if ya feel like it ! ...what ever ... someone might be interested in that ! ... Hello all, I have been messing around for a month or so with hho. I havent had the output yet to hook to my truck. My first design was the coil style with the insulation inbetween 2 sheets of stainless steel. It didnt do much. My second design seemed alot better but it was still like 6 minutes to fill the liter. It is a jar type and I had 8-2.5"x5" plates running +-+- all the way through. With a plate spacing of 1/8" and outlet tubing 1/4". The last one I just ran today ran about .5 lpm but was leaking so hopefully a little better when sealed better. It is the same as the second one but pvc pipe and has 3-2.25" x 16" and 5-2.25"x19" plates(I was going 19" but ran out of SS so last 3 where shorter) All these are running under 25 amps and on well water. Still need to find some sort of electrolyte and distilled. I would like to get at least 1 lpm and seem to be struggling. take care Larry

Larry... Why are you sticking to 8 plates ? I'm courious... probly sounded like a good number ? any reason is a good reason when your experimenting <grin> NO doubt about that ! HAHAHA! ... I think if you went with fewer plates you'ed have better luck... I have a gutt feeling that your larger plates need more amps than you have to make them produce well ... try your 2x5 plates again but closer togather...say 1/16" appart if you can get it. test it and see what you get and then remove or add 2 plates and test again if the LPM goes up by adding plates then add 2 more till it goes down... or in the reverse order if you remove 2 plates and the LPM goes up remove another, and another till the LPM drops and tune in to the LPM that is max for the plate size and Amps used.... Useing an electrolite like KOH is a MUST if you want larger outputs ... but do yourself a favor and buy distilled water and order some KOH from AAAA Chemicals in texas.. they are on line and easy to order from. ( google them AAAA Chemicals.com) ...Also your useing very small wires to power the cell you need bigger wires to handle the 20 amps... and a Amp meter in line on the Pos side to let you know how much power you are actually useing... Just because you are useing a 25 amp charger does not mean you are DRAWING 25 amps in the Cell.... that is probly where your low output is comeing from ...I bet your only drawing about 3 amps on stright water...if that realy... stay away from salt or anything with salt in it ( like baking soda!) it will gumm up everything and coat the plates and render them usless unless cleaned with Muric Acid or a wire wheel... ... so bigger power leads... an amp meter KOH or Even a Drain cleaner that has Potasium Hydroxide in it.... (OR Lemonaid Koolaid about 20 packs add slowly and watch the amp meter!) ...and closer spaceing ...if you can, (but 1/8" will work) that should get your cell on the right track. ... when starting to draw amprage for the first time watch your power leads ....if they get hot turn it off... and be mindfull of the charger/25 amp power supply don't over work it 15 to 18 amps is plunty... you should get a good 1LPM at least with that. ... GOOD LUCK ! and thanks again for the Cig filter tip ... that will come in handy! .... Bob........

If ya use koolaid start with 5 packets, with one cell it doesn't take much, set the amp draw hot, otherwise your amps will climb too high when fully warmed, I set mine while driving the truck now, just add as needed.

Bob, In the book: 'ARRL's Wire Antenna Classics' on page 4-7 is the Extended Lazy H (double ZEP) from 1955. Not anything to do with viagra! Really Bob, you really need to stay focused. Yea I've been using Muratic Acid since day one to clean my plates. Works real good. That's how I fried my PWM when I actually ran the booster with muratic acid in it. Don't do that!! I following someones advice and may have misunderstood them or got too much muratic acid in there but it really created a mess, that stuff is powerful. After cleaning it up it is the better performer of the 2 I built though. Nice job on this fourm. Are we going to be able to post pics and video easily? I'm still looking around. Tink

I found it I found it !!! This link was posted by Martinbros and lists plastics that are or are not compatible with KOH and Noah. 3...KOH NOT COMPATIBLE with PC = Polycarbonate, Lexan - see http://www.eskimo.com/~ghawk/h-o/chemchrt.htm 4...KOH IS COMPATIBLE with these plastics : LDPE = Low Density Polyethylene HDPE = High Density Polyethylene PP = Polypropylene PA = Polyallomer PVC = Polyvinyl Chloride PSF = Polysulfone PMP = Polymethylpentene FEP - PFA = Teflon ECTFE/ETFE = Halar/Tefzel PS = Polystyrene PVDF = Polyvinylidene Fluoride - Look on the bottom of bottle, if recycling triangle has No 2 or 5, bottle is chemical resistant for KOH and Noah. - Noah and KOH will attack aluminum, that's why we use bubblers to dry and filter the vapors of electrolyte Hope this can be of some help to others. Great Thanks Trev bound to be very helpfull to ALL in the future! ....
SONNY ! My best Bud ! Good to see ya found us here ! I sujest you start Makeing Randy Cells Sonny.... get togather at least 3 and then install them in your Office.... the other section in this forum has some info on useing a Hydroxy cell on Diesel engines... I just came home with 50 more 2" stainless steel fender washers I picked them up at Ace hardware. I'm still in the Proccess of Moveing to the Ranch... but Hope to make the Move rather Painlessly if I can get every thing all set up before I HAVE to move <GRIN> ... all the info you need to make the Randy cell is here on this site buddy... make one for Kicks if nothing else... that way you can fill balloons and watch them float away... or tie a fuze to them and make airial bombs that will wake up the fire department! HAHAHHA Thanks for Joining us Sonnyj
For those that don't know Sonnyj he is a Rare breed... this guy can do just about anything mechanical and frequantly does, he has a Hart of gold and is and has been my best friend for a good 6 to 7 years now.... He's a O'l Cajon.... or Coonass and is the best of people all rolled into one! his Knowledge exceeds mine on engines and repairs, and that is saying something ! ..Although I have yet to convince him that these Hydroxy generators realy work perhaps some prodding on your part will convince him that its no joke !... he like Myself has about 20 or 30 engines and or things, that he can apply this technology to... He has learned by Doin' and is Not afraid to admit he's wrong so please welcome this man he is without a doubt a Rare breed ! <GRIN> .... Bob.........

Larry... Why are you sticking to 8 plates ? ....... Just because you are using a 25 amp charger does not mean you are DRAWING 25 amps in the Cell.... that is prob where your low output is coming from ...I bet your only drawing about 3 amps on straight water...if that really...
.... Bob........
Well I started with 6 but added 2 more hoping for more production and it was a tad better. When I made the bigger one I already had the SS bolts and such for 8 so I just stayed with the 8. I understand what your saying about the charger but the power supply cuts out at times after it runs a while so figuring it draws near 25 amps. That is especially true if I don't change the water. With the smaller one I would run it and after 2 hrs the water would be at 180 degrees and I had it boiling multiple times. That was with straight tap. The water does get really nasty rusty color and goopy looking bubbles inside it. I do have hard water. Maybe I need to quit running it. What size wire do you recommend? I plan on staying under 30 amps max but hoping more like 20. Thanks Larry

Well I am trying to stay just a hair below 30 amps right now and I have #8 wire...Multi stranded copper wire that I picked up at Lowes hardware... its hard to work with and takes special large fittings , or you can strip the ends and devide the wire into 2 parts and make your own loop end with a soldering gun and lots of solder like I did.... ( DO NOT try to use the drill press to clean out the center of the wire loop though ! I did and after the 3rd time it cought and wrapped around the spindle I desided it wern't very smart at all!...I'm slow some times! HAHAHAH) ... ayway #8 wire is working great for me but I may have to increase to a size #6 when I go to higher amprage...so keep that in mind! .... Bob........
Randy and I have found that 11 plates (with the washers anyway) works about the best for larger plates less may be optimal... you realy have to just see what the plates and amprage you have want as far as output is concerned.... Yes ONE plate can make a 1/4LPM diference ! .... C ya !

I don't know I experimented with carbon/graphite a little. It sure makes a big mess in a hurry. I think it will work Ok for the cathode but try stainless for the anode. KOH eats it. Good Luck,

Hello, found this site from where a lot of you were on the other site, I have been playing with the hydrogen cells for the past two years. I have designed a 13 plate cell and have them tied parallel in the same bath, the problem I am having is that I am only producing 3lpm @60 amps and from I have gathered on the other site you people were on I should be getting about 5 or 6 lpm. Could please advise me on what or where should I go to next. Thanks

it could be a few things Roadking.... first off what is the size of the plates....and what material are they made from.and how many again ?
what size is the wire you are powering it with ? What is your Plate spaceing ? what electrolite are you useing ? whats the power source of the 60 amps ? it may not be as much as it says it is ! ... How are you measureing the output ? is the unit warm or cold when you test it??? .... Give us a bit more info so we're not just Guessing wildly ! HAHAHHHA ...Bob......

I am using 2in x 3in 316ss at 1/8 spacing, distilled water and koh. My power supply I built with an alternator powered by a 3 hp 220 motor, and this is at cold start. water being approx, 75 degrees.

Ok...do you actually have a Amp meter on the power supply ? or are you guessing at the size of the altenator and your useing all it has to give ? or what <GRIN> sounds like it should produce fairly well.... to handle more than 10 amps you need bigger than size #10 wire.... I use #8 for my generator and have ran it at 30 amps with no loss in heating the wires that I know of.... 1/8" plate spaceing is a good number....a bit closer might not hurt, but might not help eather ... I am thinking sense you have 13 plates on there reduce plate number till you get to 11 plates this may help or it may hinder.... so keep a close eye on the results but I have seen a 1/2LPM change in production beom plate number change of 2 plates... do a LPM test, remove 2 plates, do another LPM test and so On till you get to 8 plates no sense in going fewer number than 4... I did this to my Big cell and Discovered a marked increase in the output by removeing plates from the cell... it had 24 plates ... I removed plates and got something like 3/4LPM more than I had...from 21 or 22 plates...( can't remember exactly) ... what You want to do is Zero IN on the Optimal number of plates for the plate size verses the Amprage used. ... Also remember a Hydroxy cell at cold temp will barely produce... warm the thing up for an hour if you can....then take a reading , you'll probly get a bunch more than you had ! ... Bob......... Remember I 'm not an expert I'm just another guy... so use your head ! Bob.......

Bob Do you think if I put it in series this would change production. and as far as my wire sizes goes they are not heating up I have 2 #8 parallel so that should be good for about 80 amps. I intend to run this cell at 80 or 90 amps when I am happy with production for I am going to attempt to run a four cylinder at 90% hydroxy with in the next couple of weeks. At this time the cell is not heating up bad by feel.

Changeing the Way the cells are hooked up will definately effect the production... for the most part hooking the cells in Parallel is the biggest producer of gas and heat however when you change from parallel to series the Amp draw will be way low so you will need to add more KOH to get the amp draw up... ... Realy its hard to say why the production is so low because there are many factors that depict what the output will be... .... Right now You probly don't have near enough production to run even the tinyiest 4 cyl engine even at 50% .... Usually a picture will show the problems so if you can post one maybe we can sort it out! #8 wire should be fine ... so the wire should not be the problem ... ARE you useing a AMP guage in line ? to see what the cell is drawing ? I suspect that is the problem .... at this point I realy don't know what you have and itsrealy hard to instruct you on what to do if I have no information.... but from what you have said... I'ed think the production should be better too !!!!! itcould be that the plates are coated ... give it a Muriac Acid bath at 100% for 15 minutes and then try it with new electrolite.... you'ed besupprized what CLEAN plates do for production !!!!!! .... Hi Bob,
Thanks for the new forum, The porn was rather annoying on the other one. I've been busy trying to make a living. So, I'll just be watching the forum for a while untill I can get back in the black to fund more HHO testing later. I'm glad to see all our HHO friends are signing in.

I appreciate all the help, I have now installed a new in line degital amp gauge and it reads 34 amps cold producing 3 lpm, so this has mad me happier, i will now acid wash in acid as you recommended. Then I will post the out come. Again thanks

Seriously RoadKing if its going to produce more it will be after the acid bath I am still amazed at how much a difference the acid bath made to my cells. I am sure they have been very dirty from Day one ! .... from now on I will make the cell then give it a Acid bath ...then test it ! should be a better representation of what the cell is capable of ! ....
I have work to do on the truck ...going to re wire the cell into a diferent configuration... ... C ya! Bob......

I am looking at a pwm rated 120amps. They claim it will produce 2 to 3 times more hydro. Any thought on this. Thanks for input.

IF you actually NEED a PWM a 120 amp one is a good place to start ! but Usually a PWM will reduce the gas output because of the fewer amps reaching the cell as far as their clame of 2 to 3 times more Hydro.... if you were drawing 20 amps before and then hook the PMW up so you draw 120amps YES it would produce more gas.... but that is all they are saying... if you push 20 amps and then add the PWM and push only 20 amps again then your output will be a bit less than it originally was. the Idea of a PWM is so you can enrichen the Electrolite to Maximum concentration so there is very low resistance in the electrolite... and then Throttle the amprage into the cell... this would not be possable without the PMW because making such a rich concentration in the electrolite will constitute a direct short otherwize and draw way too many amps. this is mainly done for heat concerns... if your having heat problems then perhaps it will help you if not, chances are you simply don't need a PWM at all I don't use one , I think Randy has one but havn't used it eather.... its not nessarry and just another part to go bad.... When you are trying to go 100% hydroxy gas it might be nessarry to control the outputa bit more percisely... but it will probly take 2 of them possably 3 to power the cells big enough to supply the Hydroxy gas needed. but for a booster unit... its not needed unless you have a heat ishue ( it gets too hot when running) so you can eather add a PWM and enritchen the Electrolite to reduce resistance in the water... or back off the electrolite and draw fewer amps so it doesn't get so hot in the first place... yes that means reduced output but then again so does a PWM unless you add more amprage ! ... Hope that helps... Bob.......

Randy, the link I found on this is (hydrogenboostnow.com) I was asking a question on ebay to a seller of pwm and he recommended this large pwm, however keep in mind he is selling as you will see when you go to their sit they have a lot of things for hydrogen for sale, any size pwm you want and anything to do with hydrogen. I wish I lived closer to him for we would try this out in his shop, if you know what I mean, for so many have not told exactly the truth on this subject (hydrogen) as I know you have found anyway look for yourself and decide.

crb here, New to the hho side of things. Built a couple of generators and produce about .5 lpm at 8-10 amps. The best I have done is from 13-15 mpg to 10.5 mpg. city driving. I've installed o2 extenders. and wondering what step I should try next. This is in a 85 mustang with CFI fuel injection 302 v8.
Seems to me that I should be able to turn that mpg around.

Hi All, Just wandered over here cause I couldnt stand the porn spam any longer. I sent Dan directions on how to get rid of it, but...
Lookin forward to wasting many days and nights with hydroxy cells. I have already built a crude one and a smacker, which I have since modified and Im working on a new design.

CRB; need more amps, more amps=better LPM, generally 20 amps with a good cell will put out 2 LPM, what size engine are you trying to suppliment?

Oops ! thanks for Answering him Randy he slipped by me somehow ! HEHEHEH Yah CRB what Randy said ! for a 302 v-8 you need a bunch more Hydroxy gas ! I'ed shoot for 10 LPM at least or 2LPM per Liter of Engine displacement... .... Now don't be discurraged, I know thats a bunch of Hydroxy gas, but it can get you well above 50mpg too... and have a performance increase to boot!. to start off,.... get as much Hydroxy gas as you can get ! that means increaseing the amps the cell uses. sorry for missing your post but I did ...I admit it ! ... Terrable thing....! Feral will likely beat me with her broom !... and I ain't healed up sense the last time she did that yet! ...oh...bother! HAHAHAHAHAH Bob.

Maybe I'm out in left field, one would think that if it's putting out enough to decrease mileage (telling the o2 sensor) that it's lean, and enrich the mixture, I would guess that I need a o2 enhancer! Has anybody, that you know, succesfully installed one? I'm not looking to change the world, just know it's working, before the next step.
thankx

Oh they are working, Im just taking my time with it and I THINK I may have developed a better cell. Not really sure, but it LOOKS promising. Im pretty much resigned to the idea that a flooded terro is the most efficient way to go, but for some reason I really like the bath cells...probably because they are easier to make. If we are going to develop this tech, then it has to be available to all.

hi there, i"m very new to this lark, in actual fact i"m new to computors, it took my grandaughter quite a few goes at teaching me how to get on the internet, {old age is a curse } so please bear with me while i keep learning. I live on the east coast of Australia in a little fishing town called Bermagui in New South Wales. Anyway, i have been trying to do some research on Hydrogen Boosters and came across this forum amonst others and found this one to be about the best. I have a couple of questions if i may. First of all how much hydrogen needs to be produced to run a six cyl. 4.2 engine to make it viable? {i run a restored 81 xj6 jaguar } secondly, what stops the electrolite spashing around and up of hydro. tube to engine when on the move?, thirdly, does engine have to be started in any particular sequence, i.e. petrol first, then turn on hydro. once engine is running?,ect. and finally, i read on another forum, {of which i notice some of you were on } of a ltcfisher that was getting phenomenal milleage using a cell he had designed, was this true or have i misread it? jagara

howdy yall,
I got a jeep grand cherokee 5.2 guzzler. all wheel drive
I put 2 cheap ebay hho gens on it and an efie went from 12.6 mpg to 16,4 .
just sayin they paid for themselves real quick.
One quick question,,,, if I were to wire them in series would my voltage be cut in half?
and would my amperage double?
respectfully

Howdy Jagara and Jed ! welcome to the both of you ! ... Jagara: I go by the 2liters per minute of Hydroxy gas PER liter of engine displacement that can be reduced to as little as a 1:1 ratio but the results vari so to get realy good gas milage you need 6 to 8LPM output of Hydroxy gas thats allot of gas... and its hard to come by in that volume I have found so far but it can be done! ....you can get there by useing a raft of little cells or a few big cells but rest asured you will more than likely need mutable cells to get that kind of volume ! ...and thank you for the compliments on the site My daughter and I have worked hard on this thing and plan to continue to make it the best there is , but its only as good as the members make it, if no one posts, then no one uses the site and no one cares! <GRIN> ... Jed: when you hook normal electronic curcuits in series is one thing when you hook a REACTIVE load such as a Hydroxy cell in series, its a bit diferent, or so I have found... yes your voltage is devided among the piticular cells but so is your AMPRAGE ! if you hook your 2 cells in series they will probly run a bit cooler, so thats a good thing, but be ready to change the electrolite in the water as the amprage draw will change drastically ...if your running a PWM be very carefull, take it out of line set the cells up and then put it back in line later when you got it figured out ! for example... if your running both cells in parallel now and drawing say 20 amps to each of them when you switch to series wireing the amprage draw will sky-rocket ! and peg your meter ! probly draw 60 to 80 amps ...so make sure you are ready to disconnect it or just flush the system and make new electrolite by trial and error ... that means fill the containers with distilled water and adjust the electrolite to the amprage draw you want... don't mix say 25% KOH in 1gal of water and pour it in there , thats far to strong ! ... Yes series seams to work very well, but so does parallel heat is reduced somewhat by wireing in series, but in my experience it realy doesn't change that much !( perhaps I need 5 or 6 cells , I only have 3) Jed do you have any idea what LPM your getting from your 2 cells ? ...you have a big engine and need MORE hydroxy gas than your getting now I am sure !<GRIN> .... anyway ! welcome to the both of you and thank you for joing us ! ... Bob.......

Bob, I think that you have this bckwards. for example... if your running both cells in parallel now and drawing say 20 amps to each of them when you switch to series wireing the amprage draw will sky-rocket ! and peg your meter ! probly draw 60 to 80 amps ...so make sure you are ready to disconnect it or just flush the system and make new electrolite by trial and error ... that means fill the containers with distilled water and adjust the electrolite to the amprage draw you want... don't mix say 25% KOH in 1gal of water and pour it in there , thats far to strong ! ... I think that in series the amps and the heat will be lower.

I would like to add a comment on the series / parallel thingie
if you had 1 car headlight say 60Watts it would draw 5 amps at 12 v P=VxI so if you 2 you would draw 10 amps since you have two 60 watts bulbs or 120 watts of light
This sounds simple and this is how parallel works on DC current
but if you were to run these two bulbs in series in theory you would only get 60 watts of light from the two combined this is related to the resistance of each light but in reality you would only get about 1/4 that where you work with P=I/R where R is the resistance
but this is mainly for DC or low house hold AC when you talk about high freq AC ( AF or RF ) it is a totally different game as you do have resonance if anyone has worked on radio transmitter they may understand what I mean but hooking home made cells in parallel and expecting each one to resonate at the same freq would be very unlikely and resonating the cell I believe is the most efficent way of operating the cell but not yet tried
running in series at resonance may be more easier but with the effect of needing to doulbe your voltage ( I do also recall if you doulde the voltage you get 4X the power due to ohms law again
I know a lot has progressed in the last few years SS / Graphite / PWM ( resonance ) all have varing results Protuim fuel systems plan on having a 100% hydroxy unit for public sale May 2009 with a press release next month LETS WAIT AND SEE DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH

Candyman: I think your right I got it mixed up....again! ... Number1Kiwi: Very good example thank you that is what I was trying to say and screwed up on so badly! ....the point being with your headlights in series the Hydroxy cells work exactly the same way your OUTPUT will be the same as ONE cell not doubled for two ! ... this is exactly what I found in my experiments.... in order to get the series cells to produce Double the output You have to double the amp draw.... then they will give you the desired LPM... other wize , the output( brightness of the combined bulbs) will remain the same as just ONE bulb/cell. ... thank you for the help guys ....Lord knows I need it ! HAHAHHAHAHA ... ... COWBOY ! You made it ! WOOT ! good to see ya here....Hope your doing good ! ... Bob.....

Nubmeronekiwi, This resonance appears to be the main ingredient of LtCFishers abandoned tubular cell design. Maybe you ore someone else can make it work. He doesn't seem to be interested in that approach anymore. I have an idea or two in this direction, but it isn't even close to the top of the priority list at the moment.

Hi again. Yea my design is different alright...lol. I have the problem of the coffee browns also. I know you guys are using Kool Aid but was wondering why not plain citric acid or real lemon etc.? Its the acid that makes it go..lol. Also, if you read the ingrediants on kool aid it contains salt. But citric acid is the main ingredient....But maybe its the salt thats adding to the acid that makes it go..Trouble is..SALT = CHLORINE & no one wants gassed by chlorine cause 1 whiff & you are unconscience or DEAD...

I found out about using koolaid a while back, seems the military was using hydroxy years ago, the report I read said they found that koolaid was the best they found, though they didn't say which flavor worked best, I just took a stab at assuming lemonaid would have the heaviest concentration of citric acid.

there's about as much salt in a packet of koolaid as in one of the fingerprints you leave on anything.

Bought mine at the drug store, at Kroger. It was around $18.00 for what looked like a square pint bottle full.

That's not enough salt in koolaid to worry about. I'll send my wife on a quest.

Hello everyone! I was just turned onto the forum and I will probably like most of you spend a fair amount of time here. I have been in the HHO world for about a year now building cells out of everything I could find that was stainless. Right now I have 4 rigs that have boosters on them and always looking for that magic new way to build a system. I'm also into pointing out the Scammers of the HHO world as I have started a new site as well. If anyone has any info on Scammers I would love to put it on the board! Remember we are new but you can find up at ; http://pmgen.com/hhoresearch/index.php?sid=fc6508149e2653aed53a6fee11f43fbdI look forward to being a part of this forum! RealtyRoy Scambuster!
