I've done some reasearch recently on HHO production and found an artical on winter freezing WOES !
we all know that production drops when the electrolyte gets cold, and the amp draw is much less
and it takes longer to warm up in the winter months.
the Electrolyte can even freeze and if your unlucky it may even break the container the cell is in.
...
the Artical went on to say a PWM and high concentration of KOH is your best bet because at a 30% mix (max saturation for the KOH) you will get down to around Zero degrees... below that even the KOH at max concentration will freeze up.
so for really cold climes  they found that Alcohol in the form of 190 proof Everclear or golden grain
will keep the cell from freezing and not hinder production.
other alcohol like Rubbing alcohol will soften most plastics, denatured Alcohol will brown the plates of the cell, coating them and render then unproductive over time. and there were a few other types of Alcohol they tried but the best bar none was indeed Everclear.... drinking alcohol... BOOZE !
...
seeings as How Randy runs Lemonade if he added Everclear to his Lemonade it should get him enough freeze protection to run the cell year round.... plus the added benefit of a very Happy truck!... if he can keep it on the road! LOL !
...
as far as how much I believe I read a 20% mixture did the trick for them and gave them freeze protection to well below Zero....
However Alcohol will evaporate over time so you will have to add more from time to time to keep up the freeze protection.
...
hope that helps someone !

Yep; the denatured alcohol left me walking till I got cell service, shorted my cell out, scared to try any alcohol after that, but then if it fried my module with everclear in it I might just sit down and drink my electrolyte and spend the night in the woods, lol, the kicker to that whole story was the next day after I put a different distributor in and drove it home my hunting partner shot a nice bull about 50 yds from where the truck croaked.
