well, we finally got a small portion of the heat we usually get.... its been hot here... but nothing like it usually is yet.
triple digit temps for at least 6 weeks is the norm... sure it might dip below 100 for a day or two but then its right back up there with a vengeance ! ...not this year though !we had a week of over 100 deg and then a week of 90's very strange weather ! way cooler than normal !but still too warm to do anything in the heat of the day ! LOL
...
I caught a washer and dryer on sale at lowes they were damaged and a returnbecauseit didn't work... the previous owner didn't take out the shipping bolts and wondered why it wouldn't work ! LOL
we got it for a fraction of the original cost and they already fixed it...
after a week of it setting in the laundry room I finally got it hooked up last night and washed a load of my dirty pants... no soap because it takes the new HD detergant ( low suds)... they came out cleaner than they ever have been and it used a fraction of the water the other one does ! ...and the dryer sings to ya when its done ! LOL ... its good to finally have a GOOD washer and dryer !
all these years its been something I've had to fight to keep working HAHAHAH!
... and I finally got another motorcycle ! I almost bought a Kawasaki ninja 250 about a week ago
road it in the parking lot, told him I'ed take it and then he said the wife said she didn't want to sell it ! Aurgh... so I got to looking at a XR650L Honda....1995 and the guy wanted 1000 bucks for it... drove about 80 miles 1 way to look at it and it wasn't running, hadn't ran in years and has been sitting for a good 3 years at least... I looked it over and I was impressed, it only had 6k miles on it and although it has been abused it looked in fairly good shape.
the guy lowered his price to $800.00 for it and I loaded it in the truck and came home with it !
...I discovered it had no oil in it, the engine has NO SPARK at all , and the battery does hold a charge....
after close inspection it looks to me like the ignition modual is ka-poot so I ordered a new one, about $139.00 to my door... should be here next week I hope.
the seat height is 37" on that monster ! and I'm rather short for that ! but there is a lower link that I can replace that will lower the seat height a bunch so I think I'll get it....
it hasn't been licensed in like 4 years and I want to get it running good before I get it re-licensed
.... it should be a great bike ! ....put the fun back into riding for me ! HAHAHHAHAHA
....I've always liked "THUMPERS" and I've never had a 650cc thumper before ... its going to be a blast to ride that thing! HAHAHAHA!
...
obviously I haven't done too much on the kitchen in the past 2 weeks but I haven't forgot it ! HAHAHAHAHAHA

With an outside air temperature of 100 F, why do you need a drier ? In winter, sure .
