Come on you guys, tell me this isn't true.
...US Senate Bill S510 and H.R. 875 - Allows HLS To Raid Your Backyard And Organic Food Stores On Gunpoint
According to latest US Senate Bill S510 and H.R. 875 it will be illegal to grow, share, trade or sell homegrown food in US. Under US Senate Bill S510, Home land Security personals can raid our backyards and organic food stores on gunpoint in search of “raw-foods”
US Senate Bill S510, the Food Safety Modernization Act, may be the most dangerous bill in the history of the US.
Let me remind you all US Senate Bill H.R.875: Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009 is also in process according to section 3 of H..R. 875 defines what type of establishments would be subject to the regulations in this legislation. It that section, a "food production facility" is defined this way:
The term ‘food production facility’ means any farm, ranch, orchard, vineyard, aquaculture facility, or confined animal-feeding operation.
So that would include.....
* All organic farms * All small farms * All family farms * Even small family gardens if you sell any produce to your neighbor at all
Isn't interesting that first Lady Michelle Obama had dug a plot on the mansion's south lawn back in 2009 to help provide her children and visitors with fresh, healthy food.
And now her husband going ahead to create a new law by which it illegal to Grow, Share, sell homegrown food in US.
"If accepted [S 510] would preclude the public's right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one's choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of God." said Dr. Shiv Chopra, Canada Health whistleblower
Police had already raided the Rawsome Foods organic grocery store with guns drawn in search of “raw-foods”. George Hemminger said the battle over organic foods is heating up because large agricultural businesses and corporations feel threatened by local co-ops and have hijacked the FDA and other government regulatory agencies.
Very progressive.

Dave, This New Year a hardly mentioned thing on mainstream media was implemented by The UN. The whole World population should be worried with this one. Anybody heard of Agenda 21 ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sd_Mg0xCvcM&feature=related

Ahh No WAY ! You can't believe all you read Manta... the goverment would be absoultly silly to try and pass such a law.... whats worse is the Dum Dum that thought it up... I suspect someone is just trying very hard to discredit the president and his adim. wouldn't be the first time some jerk tried such an underhanded trick.... there is no way Oboma would even think about something like that unless perhaps it was a way to look for drugs.... Don't get me wrong I don't think the sun rises and falls on Oboma's back side because I don't think he has done much of anything YET... he is too busy fighting congress to get anything done. I challenge you to look up that BILL and read it to conferm it... I bet you it doesn't say anything like that ! .... from what I got from it, the goverment can come into your garden or farm and look for Illegal foods .... the question is ...sense when is this NEW ? but saying that you can't grow food to feed your family ...No frigging way ! they are not that brave...YET! .... Bob......

Bob, I didn''t believe or disbelieve it. Just wondered about it as it was reported. I read this summary that seems harmless enough:- http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-510&tab=summaryHaven't read HR 875 yet. Marshall, My sound card is dead. Could you give a quick idea of what it is about. I suspect it is the 'let's put prozac in the drinking water' scare. Dave (Manta)

Well as far as I'm concerned MORE laws arn't needed ! because the goverment already can come on your farm and at gun point if nessarry stop you from produceing or selling any food that is deemed hadzordious to public health.... and that is all this is but a broading of that power, which I don't think we need at all...the boys on the hill are TERROREST CRAZY ! OH MY GOD someone could taint the corn and kill half the population in the world! so lets make ANOTHER LAW so we can prevent that... but whats more important is the POWER to extract more FEES from those that sell the food.... there is the real reason....No doubt in the future you will no doubt be charged a Luxery TAX on your garden...after all the people in the city can't have a garden why should be able to just because you live in the country ? ... ... what this country needs is for people to STOP HELPING! because when they help they screw things up! Congress is the worst at this... every thing they touch they screw up... some one should pass a law that re-pills ALL laws back to 1900 ! because from that point on its been FIXED and re fixed and fixed again till it is so screwed up now, that it will never be right ! .... fwiw ... Bob....

Dave, Far more extensive than that !
If anybody cares to study The UN's Agenda 21 in some detail. Their own figures estimate an enormous drop in World Human Population through a number of intentionally planned ways. You simply cannot believe it ! Starvation is the main plan in underdeveloped countries but dont think The Western World is being left out !
Quote:
Based upon "scientific proof" that man is killing the planet, an entire framework of thought has evolved to re-shape the globe. It makes no difference that none of this evidence even lives up to the model of the Scientific Method, nor even if it did, that it proves man has created climate change. The conclusions from these scientific tests are speculative. What does matter though is the importance it has to foisting a political agenda!
Although 31,708 U.S. scientist have published and tried to argue vehemently against the data upon which 'the radical transformation of our Society" is being predicated upon; have YOU heard any of them? Irrespective of the fact that 700 scientist of the United Nations itself claim this to be the biggest hoax ever perpetuated upon mankind; have YOU ever heard of them? They have been silenced, ridiculed, driven out of teaching positions, had Grants cut off, and some even imprisoned. 'The Plan' will not tolerate dissent.

Bob,
...because the goverment already can come on your farm and at gun point if nessarry stop you from producing or selling any food that is deemed hadzordious to public health..
Yeah, but what annoys me is that the west has a major drug problem that mostly comes from Afghanistan, but the troops there aren't allowed to totally destroy the poppy crop, which would seem to be the logical thing to do, as it would cause hardship to the people who make their living from it. Crazy.
As for this agenda 21 business, I hadn't heard of it. But I will read up soonest. There are so many 'we're all doomed' scenarios floating about out there that it is hard to sort through them. Very easy to get paranoid.
As for the population, I do think that it is getting to a point where we can see that things will become unsustainable in the not too distant future. Anyone read Fuller's 'Spaceship Earth' ? You should. But there is no need for any killing off of populations. The Earth can only support so many people. And it is the quality of life for the people that really matters. Here is a good example of what is happening.
In a large village not far from where I live there was a land developer who wanted to build about 150 new houses. The local authorities looked into it and told him no. The sewage systems would not support the new houses. Nothing happened for ten year. Then I noticed recently that permission has now been granted to build the houses. So what has happened ? No new sewage system has been built. Maybe some money changed hands one night. Whatever it was, we now have an overtaxed sewage system that will have to cope with a 25% increase in throughput.
There is only so much space. Oddly, the much maligned Chinese were the only people to see that a massive population increase would do in the future, and took steps to limit it.
Similar steps will be needed everywhere. There is only so much room on the space ship.

Marshall,
I just had a quick look at the UN page.
Could you point to which parts are the bits that worry you. I'll eventually read through all the CSD stuff, but as there is reams of it a nudge in the right direction will help.

Dave, What you refer to on starting this topic is an example of what is known as Codex Alimantarius......... just one facet of Agenda 21. In a nutshell, regulations are to be imposed "FOR HEALTH REASONS" ? that will make it near impossible for food to be obtained if not supplied through Corperate Organisations. Being force fed GM products & fed meats reared with Monsanto growth hormone does not appeal to me. The Tories have just taken the first steps to push for GM foodstuffs in UK. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jeffrey-smith/genetically-modified-soy_b_544575.html http://www.codexalimentarius.net/web/index_en.jsp

Drat... I can't watch a You tube video right now as we are in "Violation " with Wild blue satellite internet.... which means they cut our speed back so far that I can only get on after midnight or there about...Grrrr. these people play games with your internet speed all the time, and for $80.00 a month I am getting very tired of their shenanigans! ...so until I get my Usage DOWN below their stated level my internet connection is IFFY at best! we have a Max of 17 Gigs in a 30 day "Rolling period" and we were setting at 15.1 gigs usage and then 2 days later it went to 17gigs and we didn't do anything !....so I know they are just doing what they want... evidently they needed the room or something...AURGH! ... I am seriously thinking about some other provider... ... Bob.......
