Bob,

That was last spring on one of the Greek islands. Won't be getting another beer until next May.

Don't worry about the heart attack,  I had mine three year ago.  Still standing. Wink

Yeah, this place is dead. Granted, I only play with this stuff in the winter, but I am (un)impressed. There was plenty of posts last winter! I hope this site doesn't die out anytime soon as although I don't post much, I sure do a lot of research here. Of all of the hydroxy sites, I like this one the best. There is a lot of stuck up, nasty people on the others.

I sold my ranger this spring, and now I regret it. However, it is 4x4 and a V6 and I couldn't get enough output to make a huge difference with the figuratively big engine. I am getting a 4cyl SUV (kia sportage) in the next couple days and I am going to try my magic with that. The engine is half the size, but so is the alternator output, we will see what we can do.

Well Brad I wish you luck doing a Kia !
I have no idea on how their Fuel injection and smog Crap can be got around.... but Where there is a will there is a way! ....
Something that might help you figure it out is reading up on the Kia's ELECTRONICS ! how they manage the injection system... doing so with my little Toyota R22 pickup helped a great deal!
I achieved a consistent 40~41mpg with the Hydroxy unit running  with peeks of about 45mpg when everything was adjusted perfectly.
I DID NOT however go about it like most people do. I did not put in a MAP adjuster, I made up a
"MATT-Valve" instead which does just about the same thing but manually. and I shielded the Oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe.... those were the 2 main things I did to my truck.... I also adjusted the mass-air flow sensor by taking it apart and re setting it very carefully... which only changed my regular gas mileage about 1 ~ 2 mpg at best.
.... the Most dramatic change came from the "Matt-Valve" ! which is simply a 5/8" hose with a valve in it that goes around the Mass air flow sensor that controls the fuel air ratio of the injectors.... so in essence, I could LEAN OUT the engine.... without that ability  I only saw a "pittance" of a change when using the HHO generator....( the computer simply dumped in more fuel weather it needed it or not!)
....
if I've learned one thing about this Hydroxy gas stuff its that it will do you no good at all unless you find some way to reduce the fuel flow to the engine... ie. lean that sucker out some!
...
there is many ways to lean out the engine... but I like the Matt Valve because of its simplicity!
...
REMEMBER however that you will need to remove that hose and cover the holes before you take the car in to be SMOGGed !  .... the technicians cannot pass a car if its been modified at all here in California ! ....  even if the emissions are BETTER than stock ! .... (figure that one out !)
...
Unfortunately some Cars have more than one way to keep track of the fuel air ratio as the engine is running... which usually means that you'll have to "find them all" before you will see good results!
...

As for the Site being SLOW or DEAD as you call it <GRIN>  its Not quite that bad ! LOL !
but it sure is S-L-O-W ! that's for darn sure!
...
I have no intention of shutting this site down unless every one quits posting completely....
I figure its Winter time, close to Christmas and all that... people are busy!  I know I sure have been ! hehehehehehe
Besides...I have complete faith in our gas prices ! they WILL go up! when they do AGAIN... people will be more active on here again!
...
Bob...

With reference to Brads above comment.

Brad is not alone with his opinion of this site & it's contributing members.

It's a real breath of fresh air to have a site where none of us take ourselves too seriously, Bob's wonderful phonetic spelling whose comments can save readers great amounts of time & money, Ferals support & backup for him, Randy's selfless contribution in explaining his superb washer design & his results in more than a little detail.    Daves (Manta) thoughts on improving PWM with his grid thingy.......HaHa (Hope I have that desciption fairly right Dave).

I'm more than happy here...... It's easy to detect a genuine sincerity in contributors who do not show any indication of the need for oneupmanship & I for one will remain here & hopefully find myself able to contribute more in the coming year.

Best wishes for the coming year to all the above & other contributors I have not mentioned.    Marshall.

No fresh snow but the last few days snowfall wont go away.

I rent a small area at a local farm for my HHO/Honda 600 project.  Alan, the 81 year old farmer works alone now just keeping a few cows (he says retirement would not be healthy for him)  ..... calving in minus eleven centigrade was not a good idea yet one decided to do so.  It is a tough little character just like it's carer.   I love this cold weather as long as it remains dry.  Cheesy

Hay !  Marshall !
that washer Design is Not mine but Randys ! I just helped test it ! LOL !
...
I hope you can get up more gumption than I have towards HHO projects as of late... I still believe whole heartily that a car or truck can be made to run on 100% hydroxy gas and generate the gas on the fly.... although it is a TOUGH assignment to say the least, I am SURE it will work !
...
I think Manta's best contribution has been the AMP Limiting design by brute force !... I'd never have thought of that in a million years ! its so simple and so very effective !
the problem with Manta is that he has so many GOOD contributions that its hard to pick between them as to which is the best ! HAHHAHAHA!
... but enough of that...I don't want Manta getting a big head or nuthin' heheheheh
...
in all sincerity, I have not come up with anything toward HHO production on my own, its all came from you guys out there ! <grin>
...
..
.
Calving in cold weather ? what was that Cow thinking ?  you should name him Blizzard! HAHAHAHA
its truly amazing to see how Mother nature handles new calves...if he survives he will be a tough one!
chances are good he will too !
...  I've always been of the opinion that Cows make the Best Neighbors!
...

Have a Merry Christmas Marshall !
and a Happy and Prosperous New year!

Bob,

Don't knock yourself.  You must have done more practical stuff,  not necessarily hho related,  that the rest of us put together.

... I've always been of the opinion that Cows make the Best Neighbors!...

And the best beefburgers ! Cheesy

Marshall,

I used to like the cold,  but now I have to avoid it. I find it hard to get enthusiastic when the shed is at -2C and I know it will take an hour or so to get up to workable temperature. Roll on spring.
