although the list is a long one and surely incorporates more than I can remember now
I'll attempt to put them to Pen and make a list of "Known facts!"or at least Known to ME HAHAHAHA !
...
 1. More amps/volts makes More Gas
 2. More amps/volts makes more heat
 3. closer plate spacing increases continuity through the electrolyte.
 4. higher continuity between the plates increases production.
 5. using the Richest possable Mix of electrolyte to water increased the continuity
    through the electrolyte mix.
 6. Bubbles form on the entire surface of the plate, the closer the Pos. plate is to the
neg. plate,  makes more bubbles form... i.e. if you had 2 1/2" thick plates 1/8"
apart in electrolyte, the surfaces closest together will form the most bubbles,
while the surfaces further away will form correspondingly less bubbles.
 7. a rough surface makes more bubbles form than a smooth polished surface.
 8. when using a PWM and a Max soulution in the electrolyte, CARE must be used or you
can burn out the PWM !
 9. Lowering Resistance throughout the entire system improves efficiency.
....
that all I can think of at the moment , feel free to add your own PLEASE! <GRIN>
