I got this info Off another site where allot of us got started in HHO stuff
I'm sure its Ok with the guy that posted it there if I post it here if not all he has to do is say so and I'll remove it <GRIN>

Here is what he posted and then his pics...
...
Well, today I received my Map/Maf Enhancer and as soon as I open the box I began to take it apart. I have been building one based on the schematic that I got off the forum but as a backup I purchased one. I took the one I bought apart it was very simple to make I don’t have the schematic but I took pictures so everyone can make one. I am no electronic expert but this is as simple as its gets take a look.

Ok, now that you have looked at the pictures.  There is basically a switch, resistor, pentiometer, project box and some wire ( 2 leads and a bare ground).  Instructions:  Ater completion of your easy to make Sensor Enhancer. 1.  Hook up bare wire to ground or your vehicle body 2. Black wire will be your signal from your map sensor 3.  Red wire will be your signal from the Enhancer to computer.

Cowboy (Chris Tolly) tells me the POT is 50kohms !

(this is from the Hydrogengenerator.cc web site"Scratch posted some pics of the Map/Maf enhancer)
(he bought figuring anyone could make one!)

The 50K pot or 100k pot is the simple crude way to do it.

A EE would make a circuit with a "op amp" doing the voltage changes rather than a potentiometer straight.

The only difference is that the pot. alone without a "op amp" chip, will coause havic on your ecm while you trun the knob, meaning the signal will jump all over the place, while you turn it. Once you stop truning the knob, the signal will settle down. An "op amp" will cahnge the voltage just like your ECM does, real smooth and easy and fool the circuit. As the pot alone may cause yor ECM to say " alert" problem, flood the engine with gas, we got a problem houston. So the MAP or MAF knob should be set and left alone. Also you know you got the right wire and not a freq. setted MAF when you can stall the engine with tis knob, once you do that you know you have it right. This will not work on the Dodge's we tried it on. Also it cahnges the timing. Most cars this signal is a 0 to 5 volt signal, you nly want to go to 4 or 3 volts to cause some leaning, going past 4 volts will change your timing. Just listen to your engine and you will be able to tell. Remember all cars behave differently.

Here to help is all.

Howdy Broandrew ! and welcome to the forum !
thank you for the information... good information you have there thank you !
I was unaware that the voltage change would cause a change in the timing... but then again as you said every car is diferent !
....
I do not run a MAF on my truck... I simply went the "Mechanical Method" rather than messing with the electronics and taking a chance to screw up a $2000 computer! <GRIN>
I simply covered the Oxy sensor in the exhaust ( only one on it) and then made a by-pass for some air to go around the mas air flow sensor  so the engine gets a bit more air than the sensor knows about
... with the absense of the Oxy sensor it has no way of knowing its running too lean.... or at least thats the theory... and it has proven to work on my Toyota R22 EFI 2wd pickup
...with my Hydroxy generator on it I achieved 40+MPG close to 45mpg all in all.... but it was obvious to me as the weather warmed up that the engine was running a bit too lean... (staggering on hills)
so I richened it up a bit and continued to get about 38mpg for a good 3 months...
then my Hydroxy generator got all gummed up and the mpg started droping.... and I finally had time to test it and I was barely getting 1/4LPM from my 2LPM Hydroxy generator ("Randy cells")
I took the generator off because winter set in and  I continue to get 35mpg with the truck all the time....  its probably down to 30mpg now as its in bad need of a tune up and the "Matt Valve"  I put on it ....I turned off  trying to isolate te reason for the sudden High engine reving... I am guessing that a sensor somewhere died, but I have not been able to isolate it.
...
anyway that's the story from this end !
...
again ....thank you for your input you may well have saved many people a bunch of headaches! not to mention MONEY !
....
Bob........
