Its Not ALL Hydrogen !

When you make a gas by putting plates in water and charging them with electricity you
are ripping the water molecules apart and sense water consists of H2+O being 2 hydrogen Molecules and One oxygen Molecule  you get out Hydrogen AND Oxygen... this mixed gas is refured to as Browns Gas.... or as I call it "Hydroxy Gas"
....
this gas is much more Volatile than pure Hydrogen, by far !  it is Oddly enough set up to explode
just as it comes....in just the Right amounts to go BANG really well !
...Almost as if God designed it just for us to power our stuff with eons ago !<grin>

So... just in case you were thinking that you were getting Hydrogen only from your cell your not...your getting "Browns gas"
   This is important to know, because Pure Hydrogen sometimes used in labs really isn't very dangerous in itself  when it ignites it has to rob the air of its oxygen to explode and that takes a bit of time  and the resulting explosion of Pure Hydrogen is more of a "FOOOOF" instead of a POP ... "Browns gas" on the other hand does go POP when a small amount is ignited.
....so if your tempted to hold a Bar-b-q lighter to the bubbles that are coming up in the cell DON'T ...you may well be lighting a Hand-grenade !

The Hydrogen and Oxygen do indeed come off different plates in the cell so it is possible to separate the 2 Molecules at the source, not real easy but it can be done. But if your using it in a internal combustion engine Why would you want to do that ? its ready to go the way it forms
in the cell !

Excellent post Bob. It's amazing how many people don't realize this. There are lots of folks out there wasting time & money trying to seperate the H & O. I even saw one where the Hydrogen was injected and the Oxygen was expelled as 'waste'. Rediculous!

Besides that, oxygen can level up the octane of petrol right?

 the more Oxygen we get into the engine the better off we are....
Oxygen will burn just itself..... if you can remember back on one of the Apollo missions they had for some very STUPID reason the capsule was filled with pure oxygen.... they had a spark and subsequent cabin fire... it cooked them all in seconds... just oxygen

sense Hydroxy gas or Browns Gas is simply water molecules broken down to their lowest components there is 2 Hydrogen and 1 oxygen atoms  in the gas for every water molecule that has been broken down....
it so happens that that is just about the perfect ratio for exploding the gas a 2:1 ratio
so using the HHO the way it comes out of the generator is the only sane way to do it!... why vent the oxygen at all ?  but many people do things their own way regardless of reason! <GRIN>

 You can run an engine on straight 100% Hydroxy gas(browns gas) with no additional air added at all
in fact many guys think this is the only way to go about 100% running of an engine...
However you can explode Hydrogen and Oxygen and AIR mix a great deal leaner than just about ANY other gasses.... it will explode at 20:1 that's 20 parts air to 1 part Hydrogen ( not hydrogen and Oxygen mix however, the study did not try that it only mentioned Hydrogen and AIR)
... so... why not allow air to mix with the Hydroxy gas and stretch it as much as possible ? that only makes for better economy in the long run... its explosive power is only diminished a small amount by doing so , so the benefits are out weighed by the negative aspects of adding air to the burn.

Thats a big relief to hear!!   

Lately there is this rumor that a factory or something is manufacturing fuel cells that will send only pure Hydrogen in the engine and have better results!
Anyway, i've seen good results with the "Brown Gas" alone
