Well, my cells are still working great with the exception of the outer part which I have constructed with lexan and Plexiglas's, and both have the same results.  They both shatter and it looks as if they start where I have drilled them either for the plumbing or the screws to hold them together, so now I am going to try umw and I will post the outcome of that.

What thickness are you using if I may ask ?
and what is the biggest expanse of the plexyglas/lextan that your useing ?
I know from past uses that 1/4" PLEXY glass is farely flexable and I doubt it would handle pressure very well if the box is constructed on say a 12"x12" scale  so because of this I was considering buying some 1/2" plexy glass to build the box out of .... but even that may not be enough
... besides that 1/2" plexy glass is very expensive!
I was thinking perhaps a steel box with a Plexy glass window for a side... with a realy good coating of fiberglass reson on the inside to keep the electrolyte off the steel... but... was just thinking about it...
...
Make a wooden box ! and varnish it good and show the world your fancy wooden box in the back of your truck ! HAHAHAHAHHA

I an using 1/2" lexan and Plexiglas, and the size of the cell is a 6x6 and 8x8 and a 10x10 don't seem to make much difference.  I am told that it maybe the frequency, but I have some doubt there.

Roadking I wouldn't use either one due to the brittle nature of both, not to mention the leaks from not being able to torque down the clamp bolts enough.I've always used 1/2" sheet PVC and have run my dry cell with it for almost 2 years now without any problems.I've also seen that using the product Starboard works even better because it won't bow as much when you torque it down.

Hey!  what happened to the avatars ?
A very good question.
...
Ok, turned on a setting; You should be able to upload avatars.
My avatar was still there; reuploaded it and it shows.
Fix for the moment, reupload.

....
In theory it's allll better now.
*snort*
It shouldn't have been broken in the first place.
