Re fitting the car engine to run HHO easier ?

Seeing the good success from others on this forum when running Hydroxy gas on an older engine
sure makes me think about re fitting my R-22 toyota truck to be Normially Asperated ...instead of the Fuel injected garbage !
the problem is the DMV....
 Here in California, if you modify your engine it still Must meet or exceed the emitions it was designed for....... so if I were to go get a 1978 R22 engine and put it in my truck I wouldn't be able to drive it or use it... because of their rules!
there is another aspect to it as well and I have mentioned it before that ANY modification at all to the emitions and the Smog guys cannot pass it ....Period...   at least that is what I have been told.
... this is California's way of getting all the older polluteing cars off the road... and keep the owners towing the mark.   
... I wonder if You put in a newly rebuilt R-22 engine in my truck and had a 5LPM Hydroxy generator in it and got ZERO emitions  would they allow it ? 
 I doubt it , but I have to go to the DMV on Monday to pick up my Motorcycle Liscnses tag, and I hope I will remember to ask them ! as its best from the Horses mouth so to speak!

but somehow I don't expect the DMV to be reasonable, as they never have been before!

Bob,

Strange system you have over there.  I have found that in the UK all that matters is that you meet or exceed the required figures.  When I took my old Citroen in two years ago it showed very low readings apart from NOX which was about at the top limit.  No one asked about the odd smell from the exhaust that gave away the fact that I was running 80% biodiesel.  It met the requirements and that was what mattered.

Well, it used to be "Reasonable" back 30 to 40 years ago... but now days its the letter of the law
with no "Reasoning"at all...which is just plane STUPID!
...I guess the new "Officers of the law" are put through a school to teach them how NOT to think...just stay alive!...

when in doubt make another law ! ... and buddy california has the most laws of any state in the union !
...there are so many laws on the books that they cannot be NUMBERED !
a study was done back east about the goverment laws...not state laws and they said that every 18 seconds another law is going into effect in the USA...  the number of laws is simply unknown but its easiest to say if you can think it...there is a law against it and a law for it....  and their is more on the way all the time !
.... it just don't make sense to me !
throw all the laws out and lets just start over !
