Howdy All!
well today I ran the truck down to the ranch and back I added about a teaspoon more of KOH and when it wAS warm it was reading 25 amps on the button... so thats cool !
... truck ran great as usual and I think the output still needs to be improved
lets face, it 25 amps to 3 Randy cells in series ain't very much...so I can't expect much in the way of output....
I tanked up so I will have a good gas milage reading when I go back in again...
...
I am fairly certain I was getting better milage with only useing 2 cells in series rather than 3....... with this low amprage I should only be useing 1 cell because that is all I can power at the moment....
I'm certain I'm getting less than 2LPM from all 3 cells ...they just need more amps than I can give them... they need 60 amps ... and I only have a 65 amp altenator ! Phitttt!
...
come on paydayDaddy needs a new altenator!
HAHAHAHAHA
....

hey Bob, I'd hook them back up parallel, only hook one cell up to the ammeter "since they all draw the same" get the electrolyte warmed up pulling 10 amps, ya should be getting 3 LPM, if you arn't switch to k-aid & DISTILLED, my tests on these washer cells anyway say it's better, I did that test a while back, the cells only got up to 120 deg. let it cool down, about 65 deg that time of year, on cold startup output was just short of 2 LPM hooked up that way.

Okie... but sense I cleaned the cells the amp draw with all 3 in parallel was pegging the amp meter !!!! on water !
thats why I switched back to Series.... I can't run the cleaned cells in parallel they draw too many amps even on just water....
... so what do I do NOW Huh??
can't go to parallel anymore, probly could if my amp meter went to 40 or 50 amps but its only a 30 amp meter...( old one at that)
if I flush out the system real good again I can try parallel again on just distilled water
maybe it will work a bit better now that its had some time on the cell sense the Acid bath
( you know... they probly dirtyed up a bit sense the bath ! hehehe)
I just checked the Muraitic Acid again and the container has frost on it but the Acid is not froze at all....
...
...
I'm thinking 1 cell at 30 amps will probly put out more Hydroxy gas than 2 cells on 30 amps ... RIGHT Huh??  thats what I found on the test bench... so why am I trying to hook 3 cells on 30 amps ? I'll even get less LPM...
I should get 2.5LPM out of 30 amps on 1 cell  if My guess is correct.... thats better than
what I'm getting now !
...
Remember we discussed about volume of gas output and limited amprage before ...
6 cells on 30 amps won't do much , 3 cells on 30 amps will do better than the last
and 1 cell will do even better... but the danger is the heat buildup
so far I havn't had any problem with heat... I did when I was getting the 40 mpg however
and I havn't got 40 sense and no heat problems eather
I was running 2 cells in series when I got the 40MPG... at 30 amps... hottest part of the year, and the top self expanding plugs warped from the heat!
but I may have gotten close to 4LPM at that time too... now I'm lucky to get a mear 2LPM HAHAHAHHAHA
...
any sujestions Randy Huh?
