As per oldntrd's Sujestion ( Thank you kind sir!) I added a spot for where to get the parts needed to make a Hydroxy generator
Haveing it all in one place here makes allot of sense !
...
I have found most of my parts at Ace hardware ( Palo Cedro California.)
and at Lowes Hardware ( Redding Ca.)
te 300amp Constant duty Relay came from a Generator/Altenator/Starter Rebuilder in a Hole in the wall shop in Redding... (off catipiller road Redding Ca.) but any Rebuilder should have them in stock and available...
...
the 1/4" check valves I see on so many units I have Not seen available yet!
but know they are available on line....same with the guages and large altenators!
...
Please Add your places where you got your parts so people can find them !
...

Online stainless steel parts:

these guys have a lot of stuff, sometimes it's easier just to order it than to chase after it.

Great start. I will be checking the ammeter suggestions soon as I get my buddies fed.

McMaster Carr has a huge variety of things and have been great to deal with. I ordered some ss nuts and all thread rod last night.

I got all my stainless washers at Lowe's and ACE hardware, ACE was far cheaper here, got my ammeters at www.electronicsurplus.com edgewise analog with built in shunt, they had a minimum order policy of I think it was $15 the ammeters were only a couple bucks each so I ordered several and a few of their project boxes, got my 30 amp breakers at Schucks auto parts, got my relay's and wire at Baxters auto parts, all hoses and ABS at Lowe's.

hi everyone,  can i ask a favour, i notice that because most of you are in the US. that you refer to US. shops etc. is there anybody on this forum from Australia { apart from me }and can give me some details on where to get surplies in this country?. Also, at the risk of sounding stupid, you mention " ss.fender washers", now correct me if i"m wrong, but is that what i call a car wing or mudgard and if so they are just simple old washers only made of ss?, or is there something i don"t know. Also when you say to fill your container up to near enough the top so as to not store too much hydro. for safety reasons, what stops the electrolite from slopping into supply pipe to engine when on move on bumpy roads ect.?
May i also ask, when Booster is working you produce Hydro. to one pole and Oxygen to the other, hope thats correct, do you then supply engine with both via one pipe or two? or do you only use the Hydro?, if the latter, then what do you do with the Oxygen, sorry for all the questions, but i want to attempt to build a unit but i need more details. thanks for your time.

just simple 2 inch diameter washers with hole in the middle, should be able to pick them up at a hardware store, along with the bolts and nuts, make sure you get all stainless steel, the cells produce hydroxy gas "Browns gas" and does not need to be separated, pipe the gas from the top of the cell into a bubbler, there's a section in this forum on how to build one, if you drive a lot of bumpy roads make a dryer, just a piece of pipe about the size of a soup can with both inlet and outlet on top, any fluid will collect in there and not make it into the engine.

Looks like Randy covered it great ! Thanks Randy I concur ! HAHAHAHAHHA
...
bumpy roads is what I drive on mostly so I usually leave about 1/2" of seperation from the top of the water in the cell to the gas outlet ( also on top for that reason, to keep the gas volume as Low as possable.)
if water is sucked up or a splash gets into the line its no big deal as it will be pushed to the bubbler which I run about 2" from the gas line outlet so there is where the gas volume lies in my rig
but I've not Poped it yet while in use.
....
a dryier is simple to make if you need one but I doubt you will... its not that big of a concern even if you get a line full of water in the engine, as the water just flashes into steam and goes out the exhost with no ill effects... I filled my bubbler too full one time and the truck staggered a few times when I was leaving the house but cleared up in about 1/4 mile... <GRIN>
it sucked it down to the right level and that was that !
....I don't recomend doing that on a regular basis but for the ocasional splash, ...don't worry about it !
heheheh
