Had a look at both sites they are the same persons work could we possibly put this calculator on this web site some how I have looked at the view source of the page and it does not look to difficult could possibly remove the drop down menu for baro pressure as it is only for the states and if we are running cells in a car thats under vacuum it possibly has little relevance

I am not at all opposed to putting something like that here some how, however I... don't know which end of whatever so if someone can find a free whatever this is that is free to put here (I.e. no kyping it off some site) could you please point me at it ?

I'll try to find out if it's free or not Feral ,I didn't think there was a problem in posting the site because the "Watervan" calculator was up for months before I removed and replaced with this new one.

Personally I am very Leary of such calculators because of the info. needed to input to get the calculations done... in particular, the barometric  pressure ?, and that being calculated by STATE ?
come on guys I'm in California but not at sea level ! I'm at 5000asl ! ...
so I put in Colorado in hopes of getting some sort of sibilance of accuracy... and it was saying I got a 95.7% of Faradays calculations... with the "Randy cell"(2LPMat 20amps at 12vdc)...
these calculations do NOT take into consideration the plate area or losses due to heat being made
... so what good are they ?  your own Pop bottle and bucket tests with your pocket watch is far more accurate !
....
but Sure if you want it on the site you can post it... I care not ! <GRIN>
...but I think a spread sheet program would be far more helpful .... I have yet to make one, as I saw no real need. but I suppose I could... I might need some help on the math though<GRIN>
...
hehehehehe

Bob all the state function does is give you a rough estimate of the barometric pressure in your area to input for your calculation.I don't think it accounts for mountains or valleys, not something we down in Fla. have to worry about it's all consistant and barely over sealevel.

Btw Bob would that spread sheet be in english or mountainman lingo.  HEHEHEHEH

Well,I suppose I'ed have to make 2 versions of the spread sheet... one fer book learned people an one fer us simple folk ! HAHAHHAHA that or a Pop up GLossery ! HAHAHAHAH
....
Florida... highest place in the state of Florida is 318ft ASL I think it is....near Tallahassee
and the entire state is one big sand bar ! you can dig to china with a spoon !...never saw a single rock when I was down there...they have to IMPORT them ! HEHEHEHEH
....weird ground, but love seeing the Armodillo's scurrying accross the road.... they are like our Jack rabbits up here ! HAHAHAHA... and all the way accross texas I never even seen one Jackalope... not one!
they must be really shy critters! <GRIN>
....
Anyway...I realy don't see that the barometric pressure is going to effect output enough to bother with in the calculations... sure it will change enough to measure but Just that much !
as My cell pressurized up to 24psi with no slowing down that I could tell... seams silly to me to add that in to the calculations, it just complicates an other wise simple formula!
easier to say plus or minus 3 bubbles ! HAHAHAHHAHA
...

You're Right there Bob,I tried it with different pressures and a few bubbles pretty much sums it up.
