Yesterday I tried to order KOH for my cell's quarterly cleaning and e-lyte change coming up in 2 weeks, and Saltcitysoapworks where I've been getting it since last year is no longer selling it.In fact I can't get their site to come up and they might be out of business.

I was paying $7.45 for a 2 lb bottle plus shipping before, does anyone know of a source that is is this price range?

If so please pm me or post it please.

I got mine from http://www.aaa-chemicals.com/potassium-hydroxide.html

They are a little more than the 7 dollar range but they didn't take me on the shipping either.

Hg2 that's a good deal at 5 dollars a pound. You didn't have to fill out the hazardous something form?

Nope no forms at least it didn't ask for one when I placed the order. When I ordered it from salt citysoapworks the order wouldn't go through until you clicked on the hazard agreement.I didn't see anything like that and they sent me an order comformation after I placed the order.

Hey guys (and any gals too!)
Found in Home Depot a product called "Pequa Heavy Duty Drain Opener"

Blue liquid 1/2 gal about $8
2 ingrediants

45% KOH
55% H2O
Mixed 1 tsp in 20oz of water and my little "screen cell" was pulling 40+ amp COLD

Had to dilute to 1 tsp / 1/2 gal of water to keep it under control!
