hg2,

Try http://www.hypertech.com/ or http://www.diablosport.com/.  Hypertechs are good for what they do, but it's still not the same control as the sniper system.  OF course, they may have upgraded by now.  My experience is a few years old.  I know nothing about Diablosport.

Bob,

I found a few things that work on Toyota, but you'd have to go and drop a few bills on a new one.  You could always turn your truck into a Toylet and make things work.  Cheesy  4.3L fit nicely in there.

Well, its only a 2.5liter so it would be a small Toylet ! HAHAHAHHAHAHAH
....It'll be a very cold day in a Hot location before I spend almost a thousand bucks just to get the computer to do what I want... I'll make my own intake manifold and slap on a motorcycle carb first before I do that ! HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA

It snowed in Houston this past December...  The tuning stuff is great though.  We put some on a 35th anniversary year camaro, along with a few other modifications.  After everything was done and the tuning began, new shoes were needed.  The stock tires wouldn't hook up.  Even with racing meats, you couldn't use the traction control because the tires still slipped.  Didn't dyno it, but it was well past 80 in a turning 1/8 mile (on-ramp).  Speed limit was 65, so I decided to slow down a little bit.  The tuning part back then took a little bit of trial and error.  Changed some stuff, test run, download info, repeat.  But it was well worth it.  Gas was cheap then too.
