Man of few words due to lack of typing skills.

Bob, on another forum I noticed you stated that you knew alot about vw bugs. I have a 71 super beetle with a stock 1600dp engine in it and I would like to install a dry cell on it. How do you think I should go about it? Where would be the best place to inject the HHO? Are there any modifications that I should make to the engine to keep it from possibly being damaged? and finally what gains might I see with a 2lpm generator?
I'm pretty sure I'll have to convert from the stock 30amp generator to a 70-90amp alternator.

I'm sure You'll need more amps so the altenator is the way to go...
the VW engine is an air cooled engine but that shouldn't give you anything to worry about
...
I think if I were you...I'ed inject the Hydroxy gas on the shroud that goes to the air cleaner.... if it has twin carbs you might just branch the Hydroxy gas line with a T fitting and feed both air cleaners (ON THE ENGINE SIDE OF THE FILTER!)
I havn't had to change the timeing on my Toyota yet , so I am thinking that having to change the timeing is another myth...... leave it alone... as VW's are touchie about their timeing
... 2LPM isn't much but its a small engine and that works in your favor
you could get as much as double your milage out of the thing or at least 40MPG
... I don't think you'll have any Smog crap on that engine at all so your in good shape there, at most a PVC valve and thats nothing to worry about !
... no computer to mess with so your in real good shape !
you shouldn't have to do anything other than hook up the Hydroxy generator, and inject the Hydroxy gas at the top of the carberators...
...except for the altenator...
that might be a pain too because the older VW bugs had a fan attached to the back of the generator that was the cooling fan.... you need to keep it working ! so I think I would Add an additional altenator and just run a longer belt and turn them both with the same belt
...utilizeing the new altenator for the Hydroxy generator alone, that keeps the bug's electrical supply isolated and not messed with .
...
If your worried about the Added Hydroxy gas raiseing the tempiture of the engine you might add a heat guage on one of the head bolts... but I don't think I'ed worry about it.
...
the heater doors on the bug get dammaged and bent out of shape and cause the engine to over heat when they don't actuate properly.... their thermostacially controled
...
so inject the hydroxy gas as close to the carb throat as you can get it, make sure you have a bubbler on the thing and pop off lids on the bubbler...
VW's are known for back fireing through the carb on occasion... so plan on that happening and have the generator you make able to handle it , like a pop off on the bubbler and a pop off on the recurculateing tank if you have one...
....
if that thing is an early fuel injected version please say so... there are other considerations such as the spark that may well play havoc with a Hydroxy generator.
My Mom had a VW hatchback that had the new fuel injected stuff in it 1300cc and it ran for decades before it ever needed any work... then I found out it had 2 sets of points one on top the other under a plate... the second set was to time the injectors to fire at the proper time.......
which looking at the Fuel injected wonders that we have now was a fantastic way of doing it in compaired to todays method of computer, sensors and prayre !
...
but... it should be purdy much ...put it on and go !
I don't know if running Hydroxy gas in a VW engine will hurt it or not.... I seriously doubt it...if it were mine I wouldn't give it a second thought, and put it on there imediately !

I'm no expert on VW's I've owned about 4 of them back in the 70's and 80'sbut when they started getting hard to get parts for I got away from them... they wern't the most reliable engine the way I drove them and I drove them VERY HARD ! ...but My Mother had them for years.... and put many miles on hers a bug and a hatchback and is looking at the new vw bug with that look of I want one... so I'll probly wind up finding her one soon ! HAHAHHA
