Randy Marks a fellow Conspirator of mine gave me this idea of a washer cell, Unlike his design which puts out Much more Hydroxy gas, I think my design is fairly IDIOT PROOF in design...
I had "Ishues" trying to build his Cell, I could Not keep continuity
to all the plates, no matter what I did ( I did not make the S.S.Shim stock parts  and they are Absoultly nessarry!) So I had to come up with another idea.
following the same idea as Randys design but the plate separation is a bit wider than his.
the 2" stainless steel Fender washers, 20 of them in the cell have additional holes drilled into the outer rim of the washer.
this is to allow the electrical Posts( 1/4" S.S. threaded rod ) to connect to the washers themselves. a 1/4" hole is drilled on one side of the washer and straight across from it a 1/2" hole is drilled so as to not remove the metal to the center hole, the outer edge of the bigger hole is ground off leaving a big notch in the washer...
see photo #1. the washers are then stacked on the threaded rod with 4 small 1/4" washers between each fender washer or Plate.
after stacking 10 washers and aligning the washers so they are perfectly lined up tighten down a nut and lock washer  and that
cell HALF is done... do the same with the other 10 washers and you have 2 haves that will mesh together very nicely. see photo#2
...however these washers cannot touch at all and must be kept at a distance, for that I used pieces of Zip tie and wrapped them around the smaller washers when the 2 halves are assembled one 2nd washer from the top and one 2nd washer up from the bottom on each half cures the touching problem in the notch... then I wedge in pieces of Zip tie between the closest plates on both sides of the washer, this stabilizes the unit and I have found about 4 short pieces are usually all it takes to keep them apart...
now your cell is done, but care must be used to make sure there is NO CONTINUITY between the 2 posts (threaded rod) as if there is, it is a direct short and that won't work at all.
with a bit of fiddling around I got 2 such cells in a small container and it produced about 1.5LPM at 15 to 20amps using Baking Soda( which I do NOT recommend... use KOH! ) so its really a good cell if you are looking to make it as cheaply as you can..
...PARTS:
I  picked up all the parts needed at Lowe's Hardware Store
...
20- Stainless steel Fender washers 2" OD. 1/2"ID.
80- Small 3/4" or Less OD 1/4" washers ( I did not use Stainless steel
because I couldn't find them. UGH!)
4- 1/4"x20 Nuts
4- 1/4"star lock washers
2- 4.5"long  1/4"x20 thredded Rod (use Stainless steel on all parts if
    you can get it)
3- zip ties as Insulators cut into pieces.

and ofcorse a Container to put it in I like ABS pipe and have found it to work very well for me, its a bit cheaper than PVC .but you can use what ever tickles your Fancy. even Stainless steel if you keep the electrical posts from making contact with it and shorting out!.

As Much as I'ed like to say this is a better cell.... its simply NOT
its output was about 1.5LPM on its best run which is down from Randys cell
and its harder to make than Randys Cell....
So I gave up and made 3 Randy cells and have been impressed with the output those little things put out
...
so do yourself a favor and don't build this one... it looks neet and all that but its just not as good as the Randy cell.
...
Randy has Posted his instructions on how to build his washer cell so make a few of them and go for it!
if you need help Randy and I are very fimiluar with the cell and can talk ya through it !
...
but you have to ask ... we don't read minds !
HAHAHAHAHA
